Privacy policy
Saventorion B.V. ('we') values the careful handling of your personal data. This privacy policy explains which data we process when you visit our website saventorion.com or sign up for our newsletter, and on which legal basis we do so.
1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Saventorion B.V., established at Keizersgracht 207, 1016 DS Amsterdam, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 87432615.
2. Which data we process
When you sign up for the Eco newsletter we process your first name and email address. During an ordinary website visit we process anonymised technical data (truncated IP address, browser type, language preference and pages visited) to improve the operation and readability of the platform.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
Your sign-up data is used solely to send the weekly newsletter. The legal ground is your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Anonymised statistics are processed on the basis of a legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Retention periods
We retain sign-up data for as long as you remain subscribed and at most twelve months after you unsubscribe. Anonymised statistics are retained for a maximum of twenty-six months.
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties, except with our email processor inside the European Economic Area, which acts solely on our instructions under a data-processing agreement.
6. Your rights
At any time you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection. You may send your request to redactie@saventorion.com. If you are not satisfied with our handling, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) in The Hague.
7. Changes
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy. Material changes are announced in advance on this page.
